Jean-François Lanzarone is a professional photographer with over 37 years of experience, including 14 years at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney. In 2014, he established JFLimaging, his own specialist imaging business.

Since then, Jean-François has collaborated with various leading cultural and archival institutions, including:

  • The National Archives of Australia

  • The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences

  • The State Library of New South Wales

  • The Museum of History New South Wales

  • The Anzac Memorial

  • The ISMAPNG Archives and Heritage Centre

JFLimaging is an accredited member of the National Archives of Australia’s Supply Panel for Digitisation of Negatives and Transparencies.

Drawing on decades of museum and photographic expertise, Jean-François has developed innovative equipment, software, and workflows designed to digitise large volumes of photographic and archival materials to the highest possible standard. Using professional-grade cameras and scanners, he ensures that every project meets rigorous technical and preservation requirements.
